Caregiver Resources Group
Over the past thirty years, a multitude of services for the elderly have been developed. The primary responsibility of care needs still fall on the family members and friends, the informal caregivers. Faced with the many difficult decisions in assisting loved ones, caregivers need support and information to meet their obligations.
The primary purpose of the Caregiver Resources Group is to provide the support to those caregivers involved in care giving situations by providing a link to those community services and benefit programs that will provide the best possible support for the individual in need.
The mode of providing this service is referrals to appropriate service providers in the community. The Caregiver Resources Group will assist caregivers through various methods, including presentations, employee benefit programs, a radio show for Seniors, Caregiver Seminars and websites.
The Caregiver Resources Group was formed in 2008 as a Limited Liability Corporation in the State of Ohio. The Principal of this corporation is Mr. Christopher A. Cremean. Mr. Cremean has worked in the field of Gerontology for over thirty-two years. His experience has included Admissions and Social Services Director, Assistant Nursing Home Administrator, Nursing Home Administrator and Regional Admissions/Marketing Director with the Lutheran Homes Society and Administrator of two home health care agencies. Mr. Cremean processes the counseling and resource navigator skills to assist both clients and family caregivers. As services expand, other service providers with experience and knowledge of community services will be retained to increase the services provided through this group.
